Teh Internets are Teh Idiots

Kristin and I had a bet going about which was bigger (geographically): the U.S. or China.  Right now, the bet is still unresolved, as they appear to be closely-matched enough to produce different results depending on the calculation method and assumptions.  In the process of looking for a definitive answer, I stumbled upon this soul-crushing [...]

Trotsky Drive Breadboard

After finally having some success with my “Mastodon Dave” guitar distortion pedal, I’ve been wanting to make a few more.  I’m continually amazed, however, at how many different electronics parts there are out there…  I’ve got coffee tins full, rubbermaid organizers full, and I STILL hardly ever have the parts on hand I need to [...]

Anouncing Foodblog

I started a food blog called Foodblog! It’s a combination of show-offy pictures of food, recipes, discussion about cooking techniques, and food/diet/culture talk.  Sustainability and being healthy and all that hippie crap. It’s a separate blog, so you want to follow it, you should subscribe to the Foodblog RSS feed in addition to this one.

Moving the Fish

Here’s a few pics from our move to NC.  As most of you will know, we have a 55 gallon fish tank that we love, and we wanted to move the tank and all the fish to their new home in NC.  Here’s the fish in coolers, getting ready for the move: And here we [...]

Parents & Zoo in Nashville

By now, Kristin and I have moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina. A lot has happened recently, and I’m going to try to write a few articles here to catch up on it all. First up, my parents came and visited. We (of course) took them to the Zoo. Here’s a couple pics. That’s it! [...]
