Cheating again, but you didn’t really think i’d whip something up today, did you? You did? Well, you’d be sorely mistaken.
This is the work of the Marvelous Dan Kordik. You may be familiar with his work over at Raindrop Virus Party. Here’s his remix of my old song “Death of a Dream.”
Death of a Dream – Department of Defense Remix
This is a work in progress for Dan. He’s not happy with the way the drums are still in the vocals sometimes (he only had the stereo mix to work with) and how that discombobulates it. Perhaps we will hear of an updated version soon!

We may hear an updated version alright, if ever the project file for Death Of A Dream surfaces on Matt’s hard drive and I get my hands on the sweet sweet vocal track.
For you see, every time Matt sings a part I want in that song, the drums are right there attached at the hip and I either cut them off making him impossible to understand, or I leave them in which doesn’t sound good either.
So the opening ends up being “It pro ly a goo thin I le you d”, etc.
Everything you hear is pulled from some part of the song except the sine wave bass line.
Man, this has some serious potential. SERIOUS POTENTIAL.
Hehe, i heard this a couple days ago, you best be supplying that vocal track. Sing it again if necessary. i refuse to beleive you have anything better to do with your time.
You guys should collaborate postal service style.
