i&#039;m at tigertech.net which was Stereogum&#039;s host before they went to Mediatemple. Mediatemple is cool too but a little more expensive than Tigertech. When I was all about the design scene, every big site was hosted on Mediatemple. It got to be a status thing. But yeah Tigertech is awesome and comes with free private domain registration (try to whois kordix and see for yourself)
But holy cow, if I were going to get hosting now, I might go with Dreamhost &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.dreamhost.com/shared/comparison.html&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;http://www.dreamhost.com/shared/comparison.html&lt;/a&gt; their plans are insane, but they are slightly more expensive than TigerTech and have a setup fee.
